WATCH ME CREATE | ANIMAL OUTING

I kept today's video very simple but I am excited to share this card with you because I think this is a design I will keep coming back to!

You can watch it here:

Here is a closer look at todays creation:

For a full list of supplies please see below.

Do you think this would be one you would want to give a try?
I can see the potential with so many of our double sided DSP's!

In case you might find it helpful here are my step-by-step instructions:
1. Cut your card base to 5.5" x 8.5" and score at 4.25"
2. Cut the card down to 5.5" x 5.25" - there should be 4.25" on one side of the fold and 1" of on the other side of the fold now.
3. Cut your DSP to 4" x 5.5" - you can do 4.25" x 5.5" if you want, but I do the 4" to get the most from my 12x12 paper.
4. Place a strip of Tear & Tape along the cardstock edge and the DSP edge. Line up the DSP and adhere.
5. Add your sentiment and twine and you are done!

Thanks for stopping by today!

PRODUCT OF THE WEEK: ANIMAL OUTING

This week I’m focusing on the super cute stamp set - Animal Outing.
I love how this set is perfect for little ones and adults and the Designer Series Paper - Animal Expedition is the perfect addition.

Today I wanted to share a few projects I created using both the stamp set and DSP.

This is the perfect stamp set to practice your colouring techniques too!

The first of the rhino and the kangaroo (pictured below) are coloured using the watercolour pencils and blended using the blender pen. The rest are coloured using the Blender Pens - see the colours listed below. I like to stamp a bunch of each animal on the Whisper White cardstock in Memento Ink and then colour away while watching my favourite TV show or movie.

I did hand cut these out (I love to do that while watching TV too) but you can also get the coordinating die cuts to make it much easier and faster.

If you followed along last week with the Tropical Chic feature you will recognize these papers and die cuts. I had them out still from my last creations and really liked how they paired well together. Its always fun to mix and match different suites of products.

See below for a full list of supplies I used in today's cards.
