STAMP' N HOP - JULY BLOG HOP | FAV NEW DSP

Welcome to the July Edition of the Stamp ‘N Hop blog hop!

This month’s theme: Favourite New Designer Series Paper - which is perfect with our current July DSP sale on right now! Check out all the details here.

And not to mention that this weeks Product of the Week on the Create & Share FB Group has been DSP! I've certainly be sharing a LOT about our amazing paper and how many awesome things you can do with it - but one of my favourite things is how easy it is to put together a card with some simple pattern paper.

All cards featured below use the Garden Impressions 6x6 Paper Pack.
Delightfully floral flowery flowers—perfect for creating a lasting impression!

48 sheets: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs

I love the colour combinations of this paper pack:
Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Petal Pink,
Powder Pink, Shaded Spruce, Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron, Whisper White

A go to design for me is cutting a sheet in half - working with the 3x6 for the front of the card and using the rest to decorate the envelope.

I love the coordinating stamp set - Abstract Impressions and how well it goes with the paper - add in the leaf punch and you are set!

While you've got your stamps and inks out, do a few extra to decorate the front of your envelope.

You can add in some gold foil paper for a more elegant look:

TRI-FOLD CARD & BONUS PROJECT

Thanks for joining me today for Watch Me Create Wednesday - a new weekly series that shows how I am using the Product of the Week

This weeks project was inspired by Ronda Wade, a fellow demonstrator from Michigan, and it uses a full piece of 12x12 Designer Series Paper to make a trip-fold card and a coordinating gift bag.

Here is how I put this together along with a bonus project!

Isn't this an easy project! Yet it looks so stunning.

Card Measurements - Cut paper to 5.5" x 12" Score at 4.25" and 8.5" inches.
For the front and middle panel the mat is 3.25" x 4.25" and whisper white is 3"x4".

For the inside the black mat is 5.25" x 4" and the white is 5"x3.75".

Now for the remaining 6.5"x12" paper....
Cut it down to 6.5"x 9.5" and score at 2", 4", 6", 8", turn and 2"
The remaining DSP can be used to decorate the envelope flap - nothing gone to waste!

Don't forget to cut little triangles into the sides so your ribbon or twin has a place to sit.

For a full list of supplies please see below.
I would love to know what you think so please leave a comment and share this on FB.
