AUGUST UPDATE - I'M BACK!

Hi everyone! I hope you have been having a wonderful summer - I am now officially back from holidays and getting ready for a busy and fun fall/holiday season!

Are you ready to get back to school? See the leaves change colours? Enjoy pumpkin spice everything? Or are you sad to see summer go? I'm feeling a mix of both - our holiday was amazing, we spent some time around the house our first week and then spent a week with my family at a cottage. I loved the relaxed pace of those two weeks but I also enjoy the fall (it is my favourite season!).

I was able to do some creating while I was off with the Beautiful Bouquet bundle.

Here are a few samples of what I put together:

I used the new In Colours (Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist) on this one and I actually hand cut the flowers rather that use the dies. I know I'm weird but I actually find hand cutting these out soothing and perfect task to do while the Blue Jays game is on. 

I used all 5 of the In Colours on this one - I love the bouquet look. I stamped all sorts of flowers in different colours on whisper white card stock, hand cut them out (you can use the dies) and was able to put several cards together quickly. I also have lots left over to have on hand when I need to put a card together quickly.

This one is so simple - I used last years In Colours and just stamped a background, used the circle die to cut a peakaboo look at the sentiment. Very simple with some ink and white card stock. 

I have mailed out a few cards using this Beautiful Bouquet stamp set (and a few more to go) so you just might find something similar in your mailbox if you placed an order this month :)
