My First Paper Pumpkin Kit

Happy Thursday everyone - only one more day until the long weekend! I was anxious to get into my Paper Pumpkin kit that came with my demonstrator starter kit. Keep in mind this is not the current kit, but I believe this is from August 2015.

Here is what was in my kit ...

And here are my final projects...

It was a lot of fun and simple. The only other supplies I used were scissors, a ruler, a clear block (for the stamps) and a bone folder. Plus I also appreciated the easy to follow instruction guide and video.

Once I was done I had a few supplies left over. Plus you get that awesome ink pad and stamp set that you can use again and again.

I decided to make another card out of what was left over. I used a basic white card stock for the base and then stamped the circle design stamp using VersaMark ink with gold embossing powder to get a pretty background. And then used the scraps from the tags to create the other pieces. Came together for quick!

I also enjoy decorating the envelope - I again used gold embossing powered and the stamps included in the kit. The pink heart I punched out from the pink leftovers.

Theres so much you can do with these kits. Because the card bases are double sided if I had wanted to stretch my supplies even more I could have cut those each in half and adhered them to basic white/cream card stock.

  1. I love the simplicity and the versatility of this kit! The fact that you can just get it and put together such adorable projects but also then use what is left over and have stamps and an ink pad for future use is a great value!
I think my absolute favourite thing in this particular kit is the inkpad --- what a crisp and vibrant white! It looks great!
