This month we are have a colour challenge - our host Melissa provided us with the image above and a list of the 5 Stampin' Up! colours. Our challenge was to use at least three of the colours and we could also use neutrals and metallics.
I found it quite fun to use the Berry Burst, Powder Pink and Pumpkin Pie together, this would not have been my first choice of colours to mix together but I like how it turned out!
Here is what I created:
I used my brand new Stamparatus to put together the butterfly quickly and was able to make quite a few of them! This new item will be available in the new catalogue and I can't wait to feature it at some upcoming classes!
To create the background I used the large splatter stamp from Touches of Texture with Powder Pink ink and then used my aqua painter to add splashes of Berry Burst.
I also added Wink of Stella on the mini die cut butterfly to give it some sparkle.
And I added some silver thread behind the butterfly and a few rhinestones.
For a full list of supplies see below with links to my 24/7 Online Store.
I hope you will give this colour challenge a try! I would love to see your creations!
