WATERCOLOUR PENCILS

Just wanted to share two cards I put together today using the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper and the Watercolour Pencils....

See below for a list of the supplies

Here is a close up - showing you how I used the Wink of Stella clear to add some shiny and sparkle and the flowers. The Wink of Stella actually works with the watercolour pencils and will blend the colours just like the Aqua Painters or Blender Pens.

My style with using the watercolour pencils is very simple, I did most of the colouring while watching TV at night. I find it very relaxing. I simple cut up the one sheet into card fronts - 4"x5.25" and coloured each one using the watercolour pencils and blender pens. Once coloured they are ready to add to a card front and match with a simple sentiment. I found that after colouring with the blender pen, the paper was no longer flat, so I adhered to a piece of white card stock before adhering to the front. Worked perfect.

This months giveaway winner will get a package of the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper. There are many ways to ender the giveaway:

• or by placing an order (online using the Host Code or by emailing me).

An Update on the Watercolour Pencils |
As many of you may be aware, Stampin' Up! experienced an extremely high demand for their Watercolour Pencils (item 141709).  And were for a brief time unavailable to order. But they are back in stock however we have been asked to let you that if sales maintain their current levels, the inventory will sell out within 2–3 weeks; if demand increases, their supply will deplete sooner.

So now is the perfect time to get an order in for the Watercolour Pencils if you have been eyeing them. Please contact me if you have any questions!

  1. These cards are STUNNING! I really appreciate seeing how you used your watercolour pencils and blender pen on the Inside The Lines DSP - now I have some inspiration and some gorgeous examples to refer to when I try it myself!
