The first online card class of the year is live now. Purchase the kit with the stamp set and attend the online live class on Friday, January 28th at 7:30pm. We will be using the Nuts & Bolts stamp set -

The adorable imagery and sentiments of this Nuts & Bolts Stamp Set will make anyone feel loved and appreciated. The playful artwork and cheerful sentiments will add a perfect touch to your handmade cards and crafts. And while it may be a great stamp set for Valentine's Day, you can also use it to show loved ones how much they mean to you all year long! CREATE & SHARE UPDATE & NEWSLETTER

Happy New Year! Welcome January 2022!

I can't believe that its been over a year since I've updated this blog! I apologize!

One of my goals for 2022 is to post here more regularly. So let me beginning by explaining why this Create & Share Blog had to take a bit of pause....

Welcome our sweet baby girl Faith! She became ours on January 13th and has brought so much joy, laughter and love into our family. It's true that our family feels complete with now having Josh and Faith. Faith was 3 months preemie and therefore was in the hospital until the end of January and we had many daily/weekly Dr appointments after that. All our time and energy went into taking care of her, adjusting to two kids and helping Josh navigate being a big brother.

I am so thankful to my patient, loyal and fun customers who stuck with me throughout this adjustment phase. Both in growing our family and learning to do classes online.

To stay up-to-date on everything I am bringing back the monthly newsletter and you can sign up below if you are interested. This is a great monthly email to receive with the latest Stampin' Up! news and details about upcoming events and classes.

Day 3 & 4 | 31 Days of Thanks

Welcome back!

Today in the Create & Share FB Group I shared the video of me putting together my Day 3 & 4 of the 31 Days of Thanks project.

Day 3

Journal Prompt: A food you really love

My background paper is from the Gilded Autumn DSP and the circle scallop is punched from Pretty Peacock card stock. The rest of the products are from Simple Stories and Thickers. Do you have paper and stickers that need to be used up? Pull them out and match them current product and get started! Its fun mixing and matching!

Day Four

Journal Prompt: A teacher who impacted you.

More of the Simple Stories products here.

You will noticed that I am using a combination of typed journalling and my own handwriting. Looking back I like to see both in projects. I'm not always happy of the look of my handwriting on projects but I know in years to come I will like to see that. Give it a try.

Day 1 & 2 | 31 Days of Thanks

Today in the Create & Share FB Group I am sharing a video where I assemble my Day 1 and 2 pages for my 31 Days of Thanks album. Go over and have a look and see below for a list of supplies I used.

DAY 1

Journal Prompt: Someone you are grateful for
After the filming the video I added the "you" and "j" with Early Espresso ink and a retired font stamp set.
For each day I am using the circle scallop punch and a number from either a sticker sheet or stamp set.
I mentioned I used the Cathy Zielske digital stamps for the "today I am thankful for"
- below is a link to that:

DAY 2

Journal Prompt: A place you are grateful for
The other products I am using for this project includes the Simple Stories fall kit from 2012. I think its about time I used it up! I like how it coordinates with the Gilded Autumn suite.

Join me tomorrow for Day 3 & 4.

My Why | 31 Days of Thanks Intro Page

Happy October 1st! Happy start of our gratitude project - 31 Days of Thanks!

Today, we start with our first journal prompt "Someone you are grateful for". You can take a picture of that person, or write a few words about them or both. Post how you are documenting and share your "day" with us over in the Create & Share FB Group. (the journal prompt is available for free in the files section of the Create & Share FB Group)

To start the project off I have put together a "My Why" page. An idea I borrowed from Ali Edwards, who does this with her December Daily project. It allows you to document why you are doing this. You don't have to do this but thought I would share mine.

I put together a video showing you how I put this together over in the FB Group if you want to go check it out.

Below is a full list of supplies a used for both the cover and this page.

Stay tuned for Day 1!
